Berks County C/FST interviews managed care consumers of behavioral health services to assess quality of care issues.
Our Surveyors conduct over 300 surveys each year. We focus primarily on consumers who have received or are receiving treatment for mental health and/or substance abuse issues and have Community Care (CCBH) as their behavioral healthcare insurance.
The survey process gives a voice to consumer wants and needs, and helps to identify trends and institute change for future consumers. We report survey results to Berks County, the managed care program, and providers.
C/FST is fully staffed by individuals who have used behavioral health services themselves or have a family member who has used these services.
